Making sails for (competition)sailboats, motorboathoods and cabriolethoods was one of the first activities we did at Sailmaker de Wit. In 1971 was decided to start an one-man business.
Ten years after the start the clients were changed, so it was decided that the watersport clients were no longer part of the business. The total change was made to the industrial work. Due to this change the company started to grow fast.
Oilbooms and floating hose
Besides making sails, we also started with making oilbooms. The production of floating hoses was just a small step for us. We already have more than 45 years of experience in making oilbooms and floating hoses. Due to our experience we can offer quality products.
